Abstract

Education often occurs under the guidance of others, but it is also possible to be autodidactic. Any experience that has a formative effect on the way a person thinks, feels, or acts can be considered educational. National development must be able to guarantee equal distribution of educational opportunities, improve quality as well as management relevance and efficiency. Education to face challenges in accordance with the changing demands of local, national and global life. Learning cannot be separated from the activities of reading, writing and calculating. One way to improve the quality of education is by teaching children from a young age to read, write and count (Calistung). Early reading, writing and arithmetic abilities are important assets for a child in the learning process. By providing good initial reading, writing and arithmetic skills, a child can learn other knowledge, can communicate his ideas and can express himself.
